Focus Areas

In my practice, I place great importance on addressing and treating a wide range of psychological challenges. Through of person-centered psychotherapy, I offer an effective method to cope with a variety of mental health issues. Below is an overview of the main topics I specialize in. This list is not exhaustive; I am also open and accessible to other concerns and challenges that may not be listed here.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a personal and exclusive space where you and I, as your therapist, interact. This setting allows you to deeply reflect and work on individual issues. You have control over the topics, pace, and intensity of the therapy, creating an ideal environment for your self-experience and personal development. The focus is on developing your personality, enhancing your self-confidence through new ways of thinking and behavioral changes, and supporting you through challenging life stages.

Couples Therapy

In couple therapy, you, your partner, and I come together in a protected, common framework. This form of therapy is excellent for analyzing and improving relationship dynamics and structures. As a neutral mediator, I help you understand and respect the perspectives of both partners. Couple therapy provides support during relationship crises and helps to reestablish a harmonious coexistence.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

Children and adolescents are often susceptible to emotional stress, which can manifest in complex ways. In child and adolescent therapy, tailored support is provided to identify and effectively address these issues early on. Through playful and creative approaches like games, drawing, and painting, as well as through conversations, we enter the world of young people, listen, and support them in overcoming their challenges. Adolescents particularly benefit from talk therapies. In a protected environment, they can openly express their feelings, thoughts, and problems and learn how to cope with difficulties and conflicts. The goal of psychotherapy is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents, involving their environment in the therapeutic process, promoting holistic recovery.

Potential Topics in Child and Adolescent Therapy:

Psychotherapist in Training under Supervision

As a psychotherapist in training under supervision, I am in the final stage of my psychotherapeutic training. This status allows me to independently offer therapy in my own practice. To ensure the quality of my work, it is necessary during this phase of my training to regularly participate in supervised sessions. This process is conducted anonymously and with the utmost adherence to confidentiality obligations. Unfortunately, health insurance companies do not yet cover the costs of treatments provided by psychotherapists in training under supervision.

Confidentiality

As a psychotherapist, I am bound by Section 15 of the Austrian law for Psychotherapy to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all information entrusted to me in the course of my professional practice. Rest assured that your data will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The duty of confidentiality is only waived in cases of acute self-harm or harm to others.
